Teenage Years By Logic The Philosopher
Hey you’re not an adult yet
But wait I am not a kid anymore either
But hey you're still not an adult yet
Then where am I?
In purgatory
The space in between
Are you ready to hear my story?
But wait you’re not an adult yet
This is why I succumb to the evil in society
Due to your self-doubt in me, I can’t escape this reality
It is because you’re not an adult yet
There you go again locking me in the room of suppression but claim
"children should been seen and not heard "
But yet silence the part of me that should be acknowledged by all
I told you it is due to the fact you are not an adult yet
I am vulnerable to the themes of sex and drugs, but yet I am not an adult
I am still worried about writing my will before I fall ill
From the countless diseases of self-esteem, influence & lack of vision
How can I envision?
My future, but yet I am not an adult
Then how about you teach me, the lessons of adulthood
Instead of treating me like an illiterate child,
With no acceptance of my little wisdom or care for my ideas
You stop my potential growth, I am trapped in a infinite loop
Due to the fact that I am not an adult
I can never find my ideal social group
