Heart Of Gold By Logic the Philosopher

I gave all my worth
But was it all worth it
The sacrifice of my last dollar
Would that amount matter
To the incurable deficit
I gave all my worth
But was it all worth it
Sharing my personal opinions
My cryptic past
To have it only judge
By people who wear masks
Grown man and still wondering
Who is real or false
Authenticity
Don't determine
the scale of truth or lie
I gave all my worth
But was it all worth it
I give my family the clothes off my back
The shelter so we can enjoy the warmth
Of familiar company
The last dime and penny
To get some groceries
Still was all of this worth it
Did I give all my worth
My heart is made of gold
Glistening in the light
But will I tear it out
Haven't I gotten so old
That it will no longer be so bright
Soon the light will blow out
I gave all my worth
But was it all worth it
Is my beating heart
Just some fool's gold
Cause how quickly it turns
When it's been degraded
But still remain detrimental
To my survival
People thrilled with the shine
And love the idea
Of how much it could be ruin
Just because their jealous
Of pure gold happiness
Cause they can't have access
to the richness
So tell me
I gave all my worth
But was it all worth it
